The series has received a hugely positive response from fans and is currently on track to become Netflix's biggest show to date. The first episode sees Seong Gi-hun approached by a mysterious stranger who informs him about the games, and he soon finds himself taking part in a murderous game of 'Red Light, Green Light’, where players are killed off if they break the rules. At first, it seems simple, all they have to do is play popular children's games against other players, but it soon takes a very dark turn. With many members of the South Korean public cash-strapped, they jump at the chance to take part in a tournament that has a massive 45.6 billion won prize (£28m) up for grabs. To say Squid Game is huge would be a massive understatement! (Image credit: Netflix) Along the way they encounter alien races, cross dimensions, meet their own clones and just generally get into an awful lot of trouble. The series follows foul-mouthed, alcoholic Rick Sanchez as he leads his anxious but good-natured grandson Morty Smith astray on dangerous and often reckless journeys through space. Smash-hit animated sitcom Rick and Morty is one of the best series on Netflix right now. Together, they find themselves trying to navigate the mysterious Good Place and figure out why they ended up there.
Joining her is supposed soulmate Chidi Anagonye (William Jackson Harper), socialite Tahani Al-Jamil (Jameela Jamil), and Jacksonville DJ Mendoza (Manny Jacinto).
